I have enclosed the requested items/information which I hope are satisfactory.
Please do not hesitate to write back to me if there is anything about
DEPECHE MODE that you would like to know and I will do my best to answer your

DEPECHE MODE NEWS DEPECHE MODE have just returned from a highly succesful
sell-out tour of the United Kingdom where on of the best
gigs had to be the Ulster Hall in Belfast; everyone was a
bit wary of going there for obvious reasons but it was well
worth of it as they played to a packed house of very
appreciative Irish who hardly ever get to see live bands
because of the troubles. The DEPECHE MODE Show went down
extremely well on the whole tour, with excellent lights
by a young New Zealand girl;it was on the whole highly
entertaining series of concerts for the band and I'm sure
the audience too.
RECORD NEWS Whilst the tour was in progress excellent reports were
flooding in from Europe of the chart success of DEPECHE
MODE's current album 'Construction Time Again'. In Germany
it reached Number 7 in the charts, whilst in Belgium,
Sweden, Switzerland and France it has also been doing
extremely well, by far outselling 'A Broken Frame' in all
countries.
'Love In Itself 2' is presently enjoying chart success as
DEPECHE MODE's 9th hit single. Out of interest, the video
for the record was filmed in caves in Wales, with a short
clip taken at Bristol Colston Hall on this latest tour,
by Clive Richardson of Chase Films. He also did the
'Everything Counts' promo in Berlin with the weird Kurdish
dancing at the end.
The third in the series of Ltd. Edition 12" records is
available this month. The A side has a 7" version of 'Love
In Itself 2' whilst the B side has live versions of 'Just
Can't Get Enough', 'Photograph of You', 'Shout' and
'Photographic', recorded at Hammersmith Odeon last October.
I'm sorry but I am unable to obtain any and do not know
which shops stock them.
TELEVISION This month DEPECHE MODE are appearing on a new BBC show
called 'Showbusiness!'.
TOUR DATES It is planned that DEPECHE MODE do a series of shows in USA
and Canada in October/November but unfortunately the tour
is still only in it's early stages and I am unable to
announce any dates. If anyone is interested in the concerts
would they please to write to me in a week or so.
