The Finnish youth channel Radiomafia interviewed Alan Wilder for their show Rockmafia about 'Songs Of Faith And Devotion'. The interview is quite standard, until Alan gives this foreboding statement towards the end:
"I don't know if I want to spend my whole life just making music and ignoring everything else in my life. I do have certain things that I want to do: I want to make more my own music, I want to work with other musicians... I'd like to do some more Depeche Mode things, but I'm not gonna guarantee that that will ever happen at this point. By the time we get to the end of the next tour , we might really hate each other , or certainly need another break. At that stage, I'm gonna be 36. I may - and so will the other three - not feel like coming back and doing another Depeche Mode record."
