[1] - Dave was born in Epping. Despite the word "Basildon" following the band around like a curse, not one of the band members was actually born there.
[2] - He's been citing this as his height throughout his career, but both photos and meeting him in the flesh (according to no end of people on the official forum, including the webmaster Daniel "BRAT" Barassi who's had plenty of opportunities) prove he's noticeably shorter.
[3] - Maybe he did as he got through a heck of a lot of jobs between school and DM. But this was also one of Vince's previous jobs, so I reckon possibly some facts have got garbled up here.
