DEPECHE MODE are going to be taking it easy from now on - to save the group. The British synth stars are planning a greatest hits collection to follow new album ULTRA. But keyboard player ANDY FLETCHER feared the band wouldn't survive frontman DAVE GAHAN's drink and drugs problems. He says, "It looked like there wouldn't be a new album or single at one point - it'd be nice to release an album rather than cripple ourselves promoting it on tour." "But if we tour with the greatest hits album it'd be great to play all the old favorites again."
