INFORMATION SHEET NO. 12/82
DEPECHE MODE INFORMATION
10 HAWKSWAY BASILDON ESSEX SS16 5JQ
At your request I have enclosed the DEPECHE MODE information/items.
If there is anything else you would like to know about the band
please write to me. For information Sheet No. 1/83 send me a stamped,
self addressed envelope towards the end of December quoting the number 1/83.
We would like to apologise for this month's Information Sheet being
late but due to the European Tour we had to delay printing.
DEPECHE MODE NEWS : Dave, Andy, Alan and Martin would like to wish
everyone a very, merry Christmas and a happy new
year.
As many of you may have noticed, at the second
Hammersmith Odeon concert in October a video film
crew were recording the show for Mute Records. At
the moment it isn't certain exactly how and what
extent the video will be used but Depeche Information
do hope to be able to offer a video cassette sometime
next year at as low price as is possible. Meanwhile
if anyone thinks they may be interested in purchasing
one please let us know so we know how many to order.

Hammersmith Odeon on 25th October please contact
Wayne whom you met that night at 69 Belvoir Close,
Mottingham, London SE9 4TD
RECORD NEWS : A new single, as yet un-named, can be expected in
late January, once again available on both 7" and
12" with a bonus live track on the 12" recorded
at Hammersmith Odeon in October.
TOUR NEWS : Although definite plans won't be known for a few
months yet a rough sketch for next year has been
outlined. In Match DEPECHE MODE will be going to
USA, Japan and Hong Kong in between recording a new
album due for release in August. There will be no
British concerts until after the LP is released.
TELEVISION: On Thursday 23rd December DEPECHE MODE are recording
a TV Special at The Ace in Brixton, London for
screening next year on Channel Four's "Whatever You
Want".
On Friday 24th December-Christmas Eve- DEPECHE MODE
will be appearing on Channel Four's live programme
"The Tube".
INTERVIEWS : Smash Hits Christmas Issue.
MERCHANDISE : For those of you who thought, or will be buying, the
October Tour Programme please note that mine and
Jo's photos are muddled in the 'workers' page. I am
the one with the brown hair and Jo has short blonde
hair.
