Here we are again with the latest news letter (No.3). As promised we have the profile on Alan Wilder, also we conclude the discography and introduce our first competition - as well as news items. [1]

There will follow a six week tour of USA and Canada, Japan - then back to Southern Europe until August. Dates have yet to be confirmed.

Record News.

New single entitled "Stripped" c/w "But Not Tonight". Release date 10 February. The 12" features 25 minutes of music - "Stripped" remixed by Flood, "But Not Tonight" remixed by Depeche Mode - and extra tracks entitled "Breathing In Fumes", a vocal version of "Fly On The Windscreen" and a track called "Black Day". No other 12" will be released.

Album recorded in London and Berlin - due for release 17th March. Titled "Black Celebration". Eleven tracks all written by Martin, and produced by Depeche Mode, Daniel Miller and Gareth Jones.

Television.

"Joan Rivers Show" - date for showing has not been confirmed but the band flew back especially to record "Stripped for it from Berlin.

The Band will be recording "Jim'll Fix It" on Saturday 1st March.

TV-AM - 1/2 hour special to be filmed soon. All the members of Depeche Mode will be there and the new video will be shown.

Look out for the Band on the cover of "Record Mirror" soon, and also featured on the free record with that issue - is a track from the forthcoming album, especially mixed for Record Mirror called "Dressed In Black".

Also look out for a feature on the Band in Berlin in "No.1"
