In issue n°231 of October 1987, French magazine Best not only publised a coverstory with DM , but they also released a "Depeche Mode Story " on cassette, which subscribers could receive. The members of Depeche Mode talk about their history thus far , in an interview by Gérard Bar-David, recorded during their recording session at Puk studio in Denmark. The first part, an interview with Dave Gahan, was done afterwards, in Paris, in August or September 1987.
